Conejo Valley Community Church’s 2018 Africa team is going to be visiting, serving and building relationships at 3 different orphanages this summer. We are honored to be representatives of Christ, CVCC and the LoVE Organization.

Dates: July 6-23, 2018

Orphanages: iKhethelo and Lily of the Valley in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa and Lirhanzo in Chikombedzi, Zimbabwe.

"Hi all :) My name is Mara Mann and I am in my second year of college at California Baptist University, studying Sociology with a minor in Early childhood development. I am studying these because Africa has captured my heart and so have children, so my goal in life is to serve there. I have been given an incredible opportunity to go back to South Africa, and back to the orphanages I fell in love with two summers ago. Because of many peoples generosity towards the organization that I will be going through, called Lily of the Valley Endeavors, they have been able to sponsor a new orphanage in Zimbabwe. I will be gone for a little over two weeks at the beginning of July, spending a week in South Africa and a week in Zimbabwe. While I am at each orphanage, the team and I will be putting on a Vacation Bible School in order to teach the children about their loving Father. On the off time, I can promise you that there will not be a moment where I am not out of breath from running and playing with the children, showing them love and working hard to get their physical, emotional and spiritual needs met. I really can not thank you enough for allowing me to help these children because my heart is shattered every time I hear a story of what they have had to go through at such a young age.
