Jenny Kellner

Hi there! My name is Jenny and I’m a project manager at an advertising agency in NYC, as well as the assistant tennis coach for the NYU Women’s Tennis Team. It has been a longstanding desire of mine to volunteer abroad, specifically in Africa, where I look forward to spending time in fellowship with the delightful children of iKhethelo Children’s Village this June 22 – July 2.

Alongside two other volunteers, I will help lead an on-site camp during the children’s’ school holidays. Activities will include Bible study, worship, arts & crafts, athletics, off-site field trips and more. I’m excited to take part in some of their favorite activities and contribute new ideas that bring even greater joy to their experience!

I am certain that this time there will be marked by the word “abundance” – that of laughter, joy, teaching, stewardship, friendship and above all, love.

While I know all friends and family cannot be alongside me on this trip (I wish that were the case!) I invite you to participate through prayer and/or financial support if you feel inclined.

LoVE USA, a US-based non-profit that has been supporting iKhethelo Children’s Village for many years, is the organizer of this trip. We are fundraising as a team, and each of us will be raising $3,000 of which everything above travel costs will be invested in the iKhehtelo village. This includes operating costs such as housing, clothing and other necessities for a family of fifty in addition to their schooling, which will afford them life-changing opportunity.

Thank you for your consideration in investing in their futures, through prayer and other support. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and I look forward to seeing the impact it will make for many years to come!
